Update: It appears this offer has been around for a while and per Gary in the comments, this application link doesn’t have an expiration date.
I posted about this offer last year but the 90,000 mile offer on the on Virgin Atlantic MasterCard has returned. This time the offer expires on February 10th. I’ll copy the key points of the offer below but please see this post from last year when I posted about this offer for a more detailed analysis.
You don’t receive all 90,000 miles in one shot. Instead it is broken down as follows:
20,000 Miles After 1st Purchase
50,000 Miles After Spending $12k in 6 Months
5,000 Miles for Adding 2 Authorized Users (or 2,500 Miles for adding 1 Authorized User)
7,500 Miles for Spending $15k total in 1st Year of Membership
7,500 Miles for Spending $25k total in 1st Year of Membership
Even though its advertised as a 90,000 mile offer, I think its better to view it as a 82,500 mile offer as it seems likely you can spend $15k on the card if you already spent $12k of that getting the bonus 50,000 miles. Additionally, you earn 1.5 miles per dollar spent on this card so if you do manage to spend $15k on this card, you will end up a total of ~105,000 Virgin Atlantic Miles. The annual fee of $90 is NOT waived for the first year. This offer expires on February 10th.
Here is the link to the application.
I got this card last year and still haven’t spent most of the miles so I am passing this time. My guess is I’ll eventually transfer my Virgin miles into Hilton Hhonors points down the road.
With all the MS avenues/doors closing (Blue/Red Bird, Serve, Buxx, Amazon Payments etc.), these offers’ requirements and high bar to get the tiered points are getting harder to accomplish.
Also, Hilton points are worth around 0.5cents and so 1.5 times will be just a value of 0.75cents. I think VA miles should be worth more than that “on average”…

I agree though Virgin miles are tough (though not impossible) to use if you don’t want to fly Virgin and incur high fuel surcharges. Yes, they have some partners and I’ll try to burn the miles doing that but my fallback is the Hilton route

I’ve been using this link for ~ 6 months and I don’t see any reference to an expiry (though it will eventually get pulled of course):
